Another picture by the little guy, trying to capture an image of the most beautiful necklace gifted to me by my dear friend Marla from Marla Studio. The first time I saw Marla’s shop it really took my breath away. I have a thing for the Hebrew language (always have), maybe something to do with my mother who is fairly fluent. My first piece of Hebrew jewelry was the ring pictured here also, a gift from my big brother on his first trip to Israel about ten years ago… reads “I am my beloveds and he is mine”. The necklace reads “I have found the one in whom my soul delights” both beautiful quotes from the book of Song of Solomon.
The head and the heart. cranium + keepsake heart
I make the jewelry I want to wear, layer and feel on my body. Here is a visual record of my jewelry romance. Thanks for visiting MarLa studio.
